The units were constructed very quickly with no hiccups or headaches for us. Their finishing work is to a very high standard and cannot be faulted. We were originally going to build with a competitor house building company (Jennian Homes), but it was the start of the recession, and wanting to get the best value for money, we thought it was prudent to have a look at another option. We visited DW Home’s show home in Waiuku and were impressed with its quality and layout. We had our own plans and proceeded down the path of getting it priced up. Right from the start DW Homes were very professional and easy to deal with. They were quick to get back with estimates and we were impressed that the owner Damian was so involved, he showed us work in progress homes and completed houses to show us how our house would be built.

We made the decision to build with DW and have absolutely no regrets. The house was finished ahead of schedule and slightly under the initial budget. It was important to us that the house come in on budget and that the contract we signed was fixed. We have been in our house now 10 weeks and absolutely love it. We have had so many positive comments from friends, neighbours and complete strangers. I would have no hesitation recommending DW to anyone wanting to build a home.

Once we had our section and tried to fit standard house plans on and whatever way we turned them it did not make good use of the land. We decided that we would need to have a house designed specifically for our sloping site.

From the moment Nick Grogan from DW Homes stepped on our section we knew that we had the potential for a great home, we discussed what would work best, from a combination of our ideas and his ideas we came up with a home that was perfect for the site.

Before any soil was dug we has all our colours and even tile picked out so we knew exactly what to expect. A fixed price contract was also important to us so we could budget for the build. We still had the freedom to change minor things as the build progressed such new taps that we say in a show home and stairway lights.

Now we are in our new home and love how it all turned out and would recommend DW Homes.
